Hi, I'm Wyatt,

Two years ago, I was evaluating businesses and working with portfolio companies. This was the culmination of a diverse professional career path – engineering intern at General Electric, consultant at McKinsey, and private equity investor.

That November my father was struck and killed by a car while cycling home after sanding floors at my brother's fixer-upper.

My dad was a teacher and an athlete, the kind of person who became a father figure to half our Philadelphia community. He had a simple philosophy: "Do your best at everything you do." Whether you're competing in athletics or repairing a broken fence – the approach was always the same. Carrying his loss, I want to build something in the way he taught me to approach everything in life.

That's how Seventh Holdings was born. Named for my father's place among his eleven siblings.

I'm drawn to businesses that already work. Service businesses that solve real problems for real people. Companies built on relationships, reputation, and the kind of quality work that keeps customers coming back for years.
